You are a number but they don’t necessarily treat you as such. I’ve been overall satisfied with this company. If you have a thick skin and nothing bothers you at all or if you’re a huge brown noser then you’ll be just fine. If you happen to call in sick get ready for some icy glares. Get guilt trips for not coming in if they call you on your day off and for scheduling time off. The attendance policy is extremely strict and you have to work every holiday as well as weekends. I’ve seen physical altercations that get out of control happen right in front of me. The guests are usually angry (because if they come to the cage they probably lost all their money and need more) and extremely rude, sometimes even threatening. There are a lot of busses and if you’re not a favorite you’ll get thrown under them. Finger pointing and zero accountability taken on the parts of immature, two-faced management. Training isn’t long enough and it’s easy to make big mistakes. Gossip and backbiting by employees and management is non-stop. The nepotism in management is out of control. Free paid lunch but it’s almost never good food. Not as easy as it sounds, there’s a lot to the job itself so it’s a little challenging which is good. Exciting environment that pays decent wage.
